East Bali is a must for culture and nature lovers. The landscape is dominated by volcanoes. Mount Agung, which is more than 3,000 meters high, is the highest and holiest volcano in Bali.
You start this tour from your own hotel in South Bali. As a first destination you will visit a real Balinese dance (Barong dance). That is a dance the victory of good against evil, the dancers are dressed in beautiful costumes. After the dance you go to Tukad cepung waterfall where you visit a really beautiful waterfall. You will be fascinated by the beauty of Tukad Cepung waterfall. Further along the beautiful route you drive towards Besakih temple, called the mother temple of Bali. The temple is located on the slope of Agung Mountain. Sidemen is a quiet village with beautiful surroundings where you spend the night.
From Sidemen you will encounter enchanting rice fields and we will visit a spectacular temple. The temple is called Lempuyang, this spectacularly situated temple is on the slopes of Mount Lempuyang where the entrance overlooks the Agung volcano which is like the entrance to heaven. Then we will visit Tirtagangga where you can see the very beautiful water garden of the royal Karangasem. You will also visit Taman Ujung, a royal water palace of Karangasem. You will also visit Tenganan village, where the original inhabitants of Bali live. Goa lawah (bat temple) is the last destination before returning to the hotel in south Bali.
